I have fixed and rebuilt Samsung Dryers and I've written off ever buying their washer again. The dryers have held up much better due to the simplicity and though simple I've had to basically rebuild the thing from nothing but the sheet metal sides.
If you ever do a roller, belt, heater, and motor replacement it's not too bad and you will see how ridiculously simple a dryer is in comparison to other more complex yet less costly items, yeah it's bigger, but it's cheap construction and really not worth the price they fetch in the stores.
Think your warranty is good, well my first failure, the heater, was in warranty and it would be a week or more before a tech call, where he would diagnose the problem and then order the part and come back when the part is in for install = a total time of almost a month or more - well no, that didn't settle well with wifey not wanting to go to the laundry mat.
My long-winded point here is that the aftermarket components from Amazon have saved me a ton of expense and aggravation in fixing and rebuilding these "durables" and I have confidence this motor is just as good as the Samsung OEM motor.
